The worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 has impacted all of us both professionally and personally. The situation remains difficult and unpredictable, and since the conditions to safely attend the meeting cannot be warranted, after weighing the options, The SNSS Executive Committee has decided to organize the 7th SNSS Annual Meeting online.
It is my honor and pleasure to invite you to the upcoming 7th Annual Meeting of Serbian Neurosurgical Society with international participation – Vita brevis, ars longa: Refining the art of neurosurgery, which will be held on November 24-25, 2021.
This year’s meeting, yet in the online environment, will address more than wished comeback to regular activities within neurosurgery, still in times of pandemic worldwide. As it was previously mentioned, the global theme of the meeting will be Vita brevis, ars longa: Refining the art of neurosurgery in the era of COVID-19. The Serbian Neurosurgical Society is delighted that its 7th Annual Meeting, traditionally organized as a Joint venture with the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society, will feature renowned international and national experts, who will provide their insights into the impact of the virus on everyday neurosurgical practice in all fields of neurosurgery, thus returning to our essential work with topics such as Vascular, Neuro-oncology, Spine, Trauma, Functional, Peripheral nerve surgery, Skull base, Pediatric. The special sessions will be dedicated to Global neurosurgery, Women in neurosurgery, and papers of the young neurosurgeons.
